The line between good and bad and right and wrong has blurred irreparably in our society – Obaze

Oseloka H. Obaze
Selonnes Consult MD/CEO Mr.  Oseloka H. Obaze granted an interview to the editorial team of The Bosco-Revelation magazine, Charles Udekwe and Sixtus Anaezionwu, both of St John Bosco Seminary, Isuaniocha.  The interview focused on leadership, ethics, morality, value-based education and character formation.  An excerpt from the interview follows.

If given an opportunity to be a governor someday, what practical steps would you take to ensure the application of value-based education and character formation in schools?

OHO:  I am not running for any public office now and don’t foresee that prospect in the near future.  My goal is to add value and help mentor our succeeding generation.  As to your question, we must teach history, as well as ethics, civics and morality in our schools.  I think we need to start teaching basic philosophy in senior secondary schools. The line between good and bad and right and wrong has blurred irreparably in our society to the detriment of our young ones.
