Why DSS restricted el Rufai’s movement in Anambra in 2014 – Obaze

Oseloka Obaze

As SSG of Anambra in 2014, I am aware that Gov. el Ruffai’s protective custody and restriction to his hotel room in Anambra State related to his activities in the state, which were in violation of Section 129: 1 (c) and (k) and Section 129: 2 (a) and (b) of the 2010 Electoral Act. Under the circumstance, no responsible national or state security agency would allow a citizen no matter how highly placed, to become a scofflaw and flout extant electoral laws.
